Christopher Gakwa is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, credentialed by the ANCC. He began his healthcare journey with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Idaho State University and later earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Gonzaga University in 2017.
For more than eight years, Christopher has been practicing in Boise, providing care for individuals aged 18 to 99. His practice is dedicated to behavioral and mental health, and he continues to expand his expertise through ongoing professional development with the Neuroscience Education Institute.
Christopher takes a holistic approach to care, focusing on treating the individual rather than the diagnosis. He is committed to supporting clients as they navigate behavioral challenges, encouraging their commitment to recovery, and guiding them toward meaningful progress. Whether assisting someone in returning to their baseline or achieving significant personal growth, he finds the most rewarding aspect of his work is making a lasting difference in the lives of those he serves.
Outside of his professional life, Christopher enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling & learning about different cultures around the world.
